Gonzalo is retired from the University of Texas at Austin, Cockrell School of Engineering. After 28 years of managing renovation projects and helping faculty, staff, and students with their “to do lists”, he has decided to offer those services to the Hays County Community. Gonzalo started A-Friend Concierge Service as a vision to lend an affordable helping hand when needed. Many times, the smallest help can be the biggest factor in getting things done.
Shelley is a retired school teacher. She taught in Plano, then Kyle, Texas. She has lived in San Marcos for the last 17 years. After retiring from 29 years of teaching, she worked for the University of Texas at Austin, Cockrell School of Engineering helping with lab renovations, scheduling, logistics, and organizing offices. After helping students, parents, and other teachers for many years, she has chosen to now help people in her community with their everyday needs.
